About Dr. Devdas:
I am a licensed psychologist with 11+ years of experience working with adults. I have worked in university counseling centers with non-traditional aged students, in a community mental health center, and as a visiting professor and adjunct professor at a local university teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on counseling theory and practice, trauma therapy, and psychopathology. I also provide training presentations on therapy related topics to professional organizations, non-profit centers, and university counseling centers.
I have been licensed since 2012 by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (License #36107). I enjoy staying up-to-date on new psychological treatments and attend various seminars related to treatment planning and delivery. My practice is in Southlake, TX and is convenient to the surrounding DFW area. I work exclusively with adults with a wide variety of presenting concerns, from depression and anxiety to trauma recovery and relationship struggles.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, chatting with friends, reading a good fiction book, watching a good horror movie or binge re-watching shows from the 80s and 90s that I love. I believe very much in a work-life balance, but give 100% to whichever role I am in at the moment.
